Return Of The Champ
This drill focuses on the return of serve, an often overlooked shot in training, that has been a crucial component of world-class player’s success such as Andre Agassi, Roger Federer and even Lleyton Hewitt.
- The coach will move into the court to serve balls on both sides of the court (deuce and ad court). By moving closer this will reduce the time the player has to react to the serve, and by doing so will overtime improve the return of serve, in a high-reactive scenario.
- The coach can gauge how close to stand and how fast to serve the ball dependent on the skill level of the player.
