Open Stance Movement

This drill focuses on developing a player’s open stance forehand and backhand, a shot that Novak Djokovic has mastered and uses as a distinct advantage against the world’s best.

The open stance shots should be designed so that the first two should be defensive shots, while the 3rd and 4th shots down the line are attacking, and almost ‘pulling the trigger’ down the line, in hope of a winner. The coach should feed the balls with this in mind.
