Inside-Out Inside-In Forehands

This drill is great for improving the aggressiveness and movement of players.

  1. The coach will feed by hand (Spanish feeding style) outside the left shoulder of the right handed player (with everything opposite for the left handed players).
  2. The player will move from the centre cone where they begin and run around an inside-out forehand to the opposite diagonal cross-court.
  3. They will then go back to the cone, upon which the coach will feed again and the player will run around and hit an inside-in forehand down the line.

The players should play this drill as an aggressive drill that focuses on playing in a positive mindset and moving around the shots. The drill can be expanded so that the coach moves to the other side of the net and feeds the ball with his racquet.
