Hit, Touch, Run

This is a greater exercise that is a true aerobic killer, and will get your players fit and will develop their ability to hit a shot on the run under time constraints and fatigue.

The coach will be feeding balls from inside the service line to a player on the baseline. The coach will feed balls from side to side for both forehands and backhand shots. After executing each shot the player will have to bend down touch the ground and run after the next ball that is being fed on the other side of the court.

This tennis drill can be modified by having the player complete one push up after each shot, or to make it a real killer exercise have the player complete one burpee in between each shot.
