Hold The Half Court
This is a ‘dig your own grave’ style tennis drill where two players compete against each other, with one player covering the whole singles court and the other player covering only half a court. A player who is covering the whole court must win a point in order to play the next point in only half a court, and therefore make their opponent cover the full court.
A player covering the full court who can’t manage to win the point against their opponent playing half-a-court will quickly become fatigued. This is why it is a ‘dig your own grave’ style drill, where it is so important to hold the half court and continue to win the points against your opponent covering the full court.
